Won the Zimbabwe Junior Strokeplay Championships by 16 shots
Won the Zimbabwe Junior Match play Championship. He played eight match plays, won 7 and halved one
Won the Manicaland Amateur Championship with rounds of 71 and 71 for a three shot victory
Retained the U-19 WGC Junior Championship with scores of 71, 73, 74, 72 and won by 3 strokes
Runner-up in Zimbabwe National Match play Championship
Becomes the youngest Club Champion in Africa by winning the Borrowdale Brook Club Championship and sets another Amateur record with a 65 in the second round and a 71 in the first for an 8 under par 136.

Won his first Amateur, Harare Province Golf Union Amateur Championship at Sun River CC, shooting 69 & 73 and winning by 4

2000
Undisputed U16 champion. Again like U14 he achieved a 100% winning record in U16 golf by collecting 4 in-a-row U16 titles as predicted
Played Inter-Provincials, returning undefeated in all net and gross matches
1999
Played 1st amateur tournaments, Zimbabwe Amateur, becoming the youngest player to make the cut at 12
Undisputed U14 champion. Won the Castrol U14 calmly by 10 shots. Then proceeded to claim the next 3 U14 titles with some ease
1995
Started playing golf at age 8. Dedication showed early when every Sunday he persuaded his parents to take him to the driving range
